Isaac Sheffer, the chief Cantor of Berlin,
Mimi Sheffer tours Germany in concert. They sing
with
sirventes
berlin , a professional vocal ensemble.
Professor Stefan Schuck conducts, arranges and
plays the organ.
With their motto: “Out of the synagogue and to the people”
they reach diverse audiences and thus , open doors and hearts
to the glory of synagogue music. Their repertoire spreads a wide
angle from the most awe-inspiring High Holy Day pieces through
the beloved Shabbat songs only ending with Jewish musical jokes.
